Anthropic's small model, launched on the claim that it matched the largest model of the generation before it — which is the clearest statement anyone made about how fast the floor was rising. It ran fifteen months and was retired on the same day as Claude 3.7 Sonnet, a model two generations newer than the one it had matched.
